Liz Truss challenges Labour Candidate on Brexit

South West Norfolk Conservative parliamentary candidate Liz Truss today challenged the Labour candidate Emily Blake to say what she will do about Brexit. In a letter to the candidate, Liz calls on her to respond to four crucial questions about Brexit, adding in the letter ‘if I’m elected, I will back the great new deal that Boris Johnson has already agreed with the EU. Britain will be out of the EU by the end of January, giving families and businesses the certainty they need to plan for the future.’

Liz Truss commented ‘ The British people want this resolved once and for all. More dither and delay creates uncertainty, damages Britain and the British public have had enough. I am calling on the Labour candidate to say what she will do about it. The Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has repeatedly failed to recognise the result of the 2016 referendum and continues to sit on the fence. I am fully committed to Brexit, the Prime Minister Boris Johnson is fully committed to Brexit and the UK will leave the EU by the end of January 2020 – the Conservatives are the only party who will deliver Brexit for the British people.’
