Last night the Prime Minister addressed the nation, announcing a national lockdown, as he asked the British public to once again: stay at home, control the virus, protect the NHS and save lives.
Across the country the 4th July became known as ‘Super Saturday’ as restaurants, pubs, hairdressers and barbers joined retailers in opening their doors once again to the public.
Liz Truss MP has today welcomed the announcement from the chancellor of a new fast track loan for businesses commenting ‘This is extremely positive news, particularly offering support for sole traders and small businesses who may not have fully benefitted from other schemes.
